Holiday snaps

This has brightened up the kitchen wall. A quick wee choppy nine-patch. Since it has been so nicely painted and tidied.

Quilt

This is a quilt cut and half pieced before holidays. It is for our new sofas... when they arrive. One is light... beige-y cream... mistake if you have dog/cat/children, all of which bide here and all of whom climb/stand/lay on the couch. So I am collectin an array of throws to casually throw over.
Who am I kidding, they wont be allowed in the room!!

It's an appalling pic, it is rich in colours and from half of a Petit Fours box of repro Moda fabrics.

Back from one sunny place to one wet place...

Above is looking up, below is looking down. 453 steps in a tight, confined, narrow, medieval stairwell. Two children putting parents to shame racing up... parents puffing and panting following... about covers it. Hot. Hot. Hot.
