I bought this kit in the summer at www.thefatquarters.co.uk
We went down to Newcastle for Amy Butlers talk. I think she did 3 in the UK and it was a treat seeing her. I think I might have to try making one of her tunics. So this bag isn't and A. B kit but it was hanging in the shop and was beautiful and I so I bought it...
It's nearly there. Hopefully it will come together this week if I get an hour or two to play. but it will not be coming out in this horrible weather - I shall wait for some sunshine.

two in one sitting...
Here is a pic that isn't of the little meerkat face herself. This is a room with heating, lighting shelving... have a brought everything down? In a word - No. Why? Total laziness. The knock on effect being that at the moment fabric is hidden behind doors and when I move into situ (which i must) it will be visible to all those who wish to see - if you catch my drift. How can I ever buy again.
It's not VERY tidy at the moment, but that doesn't bother me. Behind the photographer (me) is a table where the children have their sewing machine which they are free to sit at whenever. And blow me they do! Oh how it makes my heart sing. Talk about bliss - if, when I was a girl, my mother had a room like this and I was allowed to use it, so they are welcome to have a go. The dog likes to sit here too, and watch. The kitchen is just through the door so I am always near the kettle. Lovely.
Here's the little lady again..
Oh dear this is going to become a blog about the dug! No it isn't... much. She's barking at her reflection at the moment. Talk about daft. It's true you know, cats and dogs. Dogs see things as black and white. They don't do mystery.
Anyway, here is the lady having a cuddle.

Oh the Sun has got his hat on...
Hip Hip Hip Hooray... the sun was out. It's been a while but the pretty lady took advantage and got her parasol out.
Then she saw a neighbourhood cat who saw the long rope attaching the pretty lady to the iron bench. So it could have been Tom and Jerry but instead clever cat waved from the pavement.. "you can't catch me!... coo-ee... yeah - you dog, I'm over here!"
And the pretty lady showed her barking skills.

So after having my iphone for almost a year a kindly young man in the Apple store -who looked about 10! showed me how to work it.. enough said. After a long time of losing internet and crashing computer I treated myself to a laptop, and now finally after a fortnight of looking at it as an ornament it is now linked up and working. The pleasures of wireless must be sitting in bed falling asleep whilst browsing. Suppose it could sit on my bathshelf thingy and then that could just be ridiculous. And what if t fell in! NO I will stick to bedtime browsing.
The bold pup is now 5 months old and it is like having baby in the house, truely. No time is your own, although she is now sleeping very well from about 8ish through the night (what do I sound like) so I can now potter and sew. It's a bit like when the small people are able to climb stairs and keep their toys in their rooms... which really does get your space back.
Then on another note.. can you guess where we have been? I haven't downloaded many pics yet but have with some.
